Remember to check the types of connectors the KVM switches have. Older ones use PS/2 connectors for the keyboard and mouse but you need all USB. You may also have problems with the monitor connectors as your MAC probably has HDMI and your Dell may only have VGA so you will need an adapter for one of them & these often don't play nicely with KVM switches.
